Rant: A customer tried to cool their PC with a desk fan and ice packs
Honestly, I saw this guy bring in his gaming rig totally soaked. Tbh, he thought pointing a fan at ice packs on the case would help with overheating. Ngl, it shorted the whole system. Now I tell everyone to just buy proper cooling. It's wild how common this stuff is getting.

See the logic in trying a fan and ice for a hot PC. When your system's overheating, you grab what's on hand without thinking it through. It's a mistake from panic, not a planned way to avoid buying a cooler.

@robinprice, the lengths folks go to are wild. I saw someone using a bathtub full of ice as a "drink holder" last weekend. Another person just leaves all their soda in the car and runs out to get a warm one every time. It's like a weird game of refusing to spend forty bucks on a simple box that keeps things cold.
