Saw a repair shop in Boise running a 12 year old bench setup, and it got me thinking about my own clutter
I was in Boise last month dropping off a laptop for a client and the tech there had his whole bench on one folding table with a single power strip zip tied to the leg. What caught my eye was a handwritten tag on every cable, just masking tape and sharpie with the ticket number, and he said it cut his mix ups to almost zero in 6 years. My own bench has 3 surge protectors and a pile of unlabeled adapters I dig through every single job. Do you guys label your cables by ticket, or is that just overkill for a small shop like mine?
