That moment I realized I was overcomplicating cable management
I used to spend hours zip-tying every single wire behind my desk, making it look like a museum piece, but after a server crash last month where I had to trace a faulty SATA cable, I switched to Velcro straps and labeled everything with a label maker in under 20 minutes. Has anyone else ditched the tight bundles for something easier to service?

Man, I hear you on that "museum piece" comment. I spent way too many weekends making my cables look like a work of art, but when I had to swap out a dead power supply last year, I realized how dumb it was. The tight bundles looked nice but made everything a nightmare to work with. Switched to some basic Velcro straps too and honestly, it changed my whole setup. Sometimes you gotta learn the hard way that pretty isn't always practical.

Ha, yeah I did the exact same thing with my first build.
