The $80 tool kit that looked great but fell apart in 2 months
I bought one of those big colorful tool kits on Amazon for $80 last spring. It had every bit, driver, and plier you could want. By week three the ratchet was skipping, and the screwdriver handles started cracking. The wire strippers barely made it through 10 cables before they dulled out. I ended up replacing half the tools individually for more than the whole kit cost. Has anyone else had better luck with those budget kits, or is it always a gamble?
