TIL a customer's VPN was causing their printer to fail for 6 months

I swapped out three network cards and two routers before realizing their office VPN software was blocking the printer's IP range. Has anyone else had a VPN mess with local devices like that?

Oh man, I spent a week once chasing a ghost before finding the exact same thing (VPN blocking local IPs).
