Finally decided to try a magnesium float over my old steel one for a garage floor in Medicine Hat, and the finish was way smoother with no sticking.

I was worried it would be too soft, but after the first pass on the 30x24 slab, I could see the difference, and it cut my finishing time down by almost an hour, so what's your go-to float for interior work?

Got a cheap one from a yard sale last summer and it changed my whole weekend. Suddenly I'm the guy who makes fresh salsa every Sunday, lol. The cleanup is a bit of a pain though, gotta soak the blade right away.
