Had to finish a 30 yard driveway in the rain last Thursday and it turned out better than expected.

Honestly, @ward.mason is right about the rain helping it set. I had a job last spring where a light shower came through right after we finished a walkway. It kept the mix from drying too fast in the sun. The finish was way smoother than when it's bone dry and hot. Tbh, it's a gamble, but sometimes the weather just works out for you.

Yeah, I gotta disagree on the gamble part because I've seen light rain wreck a finish way more often than fix it.

Yeah, the rain can actually help it set up nice sometimes. I did a small patio in a drizzle last month and it came out smooth as anything.
