Hit 2,000 pours yesterday and it finally clicked why my edges kept slumping

I keep a running count in my notebook. 2,000 slabs, curbs, and walkways since I started with my uncle back in 2013. Yesterday I was finishing a small patio in Tulsa and the front edge kept dropping. Same spot, three times. Then it hit me, I was using the same float angle I use on big slabs. Smaller pours need a steeper angle, less pressure. Always knew it in the back of my head but that number made me actually stop and check my habits. Anyone else notice their technique drifts after a certain amount of pours?
