Job foreman scrapped my broom finish over a tiny bird track

Last Thursday on a pad in Tacoma, a pigeon walked through the slab before I could trowel it out and the foreman made us tear out 600 square feet over it. He said it was an 'aesthetic defect' but I think he was just showing off for the owner. Any of you ever had a whole pour rejected for something that small?

Man, tearing out 600 squares over a bird track seems like a huge overreaction.

600 squares is basically a whole soccer field of tile gone because of one little bird footprint, which honestly sounds like something I would do after a bad day. @alicecooper I once repainted an entire wall because I messed up one corner, so I get the impulse even if it makes zero sense.
