Just hit 10,000 square feet of polished concrete in one month
I mean, I was just trying to keep up with the schedule on this big warehouse job in Cincinnati. I was tracking my daily yards like usual, but when I added it all up at the end of April, the total was over 10k. It hit me that I've never done that much polished work in a single month before. It was mostly because we had a crew of four and ran the grinders almost non-stop for three weeks straight. My arms are still tired, but seeing that number made all the dust and noise feel worth it. Has anyone else pulled off a big square footage month like that, and how did your gear hold up?

Man, I feel you on that! That is a beast of a month. Your arms have gotta be feeling like two noodles hanging off your shoulders. I hit somewhere around 8k once on a school gym floor and my old machine started sounding like a blender full of rocks by the third week. Good on you and your crew for powering through, that pizza must have tasted like victory.

Honestly, 10k square feet in a month just sounds like a fancy way of saying you forgot what your elbows are for. Tbh my old grinder would have just started crying smoke and given up halfway through week two. That's a crazy amount of dust to breathe, hope you at least bought the crew the good pizza after that.
