So what was the actual timeline on that project? Like, did they pull the forms after a day and just hope for the best? I've seen guys try to walk on a slab after 48 hours because it "felt hard," and it was a total disaster. The whole thing just spiderwebbed under the weight.

Quickest crushed granite countertop on record" sounds about right, but maybe for the wrong reasons. I mean, if it went that fast, I'm guessing it wasn't exactly a quality install. That's the kind of speed record you get when the whole thing cracks before the sealant even dries. Just picturing someone leaning on it and hearing that awful crunch. Honestly, a record for how quickly it turned into a very expensive, rocky mess. Was the prize just a bucket of granite dust and regret?
