Tried a power trowel on a small pad, felt like I was fighting it for 2 hours
Poured a 10x12 patio in Fort Collins last Saturday and decided to break out the power trowel instead of hand floating it like usual. That thing was way too heavy for that little slab, kept digging in the edges and leaving divots I had to fix by hand. Learned that machines aren't always faster for small work, sometimes the old school magnesium float does the job cleaner. Anyone else regret bringing a big tool to a small pour?
