Vent: My power trowel blade flew off on a 40-yard pour today
I was finishing a slab for a garage in Boulder and BAM, the blade just snapped off the trowel arm. Scared the hell out of me, almost took out my helper's leg. Turns out the retaining clip was worn down and I didn't check it close enough before starting. Anyone else had a blade come loose like that and have a good way to inspect those clips before a big pour?

Happened to me last spring on a 50 yard pour in Longmont lmao. Now i take a photo of the clips before every job and zoom in like im checking my own bald spot.
