Balayage vs. foil highlights for my curly client, I chose balayage
Last week I had a client with 3B curls who wanted a sun-kissed look, and I kept going back and forth between balayage and traditional foils. I picked balayage because it gives that softer grow-out, but honestly the sectioning on curly hair took me twice as long, like 40 extra minutes just to place everything. Has anyone else found foils easier for controlling lift on textured hair, or do you just accept the longer timing with balayage?
