Blew $80 on a salon chair that broke after 3 weeks
Ngl, I got cheap and bought a folding salon chair off Amazon for $80 thinking I was being smart. The hydraulic stem snapped on me while I had a client in it, just totally gave out mid-cut. Has anyone else had a bad experience with those budget chairs or found one that actually holds up?

$80 folding chairs are basically a ticking time bomb for anyone over 120 pounds, I learned that the hard way too. Look for a used salon chair from a real supply store on Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist, they're usually better built for around the same price. Have you checked the weight limit on the one you bought?
