Can we talk about how bad cheap shears are for your hands?

I used a $30 pair from a beauty supply store for 6 months and my thumb joint was killing me. Swapped to a $150 pair of Kashi shears that a stylist friend recommended, and the pain went away in 2 weeks. Has anyone else noticed a big difference after upgrading to better scissors?

Read somewhere that cheap shears mess up your grip over time cause they don't fit your hand right, so your joints take all the strain. Your experience just backs that up hard.

You're just lucky, most of us can't drop that kind of cash on scissors.
