Switched from foils to balayage for heavy blonding. Here's why.

Honestly I was a die-hard foil girl for 8 years. But last Thursday I had a client named Marie who wanted a full bleach and tone but said her hair felt like straw after 3 foil sessions. Tried a freehand balayage with Olaplex mixed in and her ends looked way healthier, plus she booked again for 6 weeks out. Has anyone else made the switch and noticed less damage?

My sister's hair snapped off after foils so we switched to balayage too.

Girl same lol. My client Jenna came in crying after her last foil bleach because she had so much breakage around her hairline. Switched her to a balayage with a bond builder and her regrowth is way softer now. Also noticed I don't have to touch up her roots as fast since the fade out is more gradual.
