Two hours deep into a partial weave and I still haven't matched the density right

I spent way too long trying to get a seamless blend on a client in Des Moines last week. The issue was her bio hair was super fine but the weft I grabbed was medium density, so it looked bulky no matter how I layered it. I ended up having to split every track in half, which ate up an extra hour. Has anyone else dealt with density mismatch taking way longer than it should?

Man I feel this, I had the same thing happen with a client in Cedar Rapids a few weeks ago where her natural hair was so fine that even the lightest weft I had looked chunky. It's like no matter what you do, the texture difference just makes the whole blend take way longer than it should, and you end up spending almost as much time fixing the density as you do installing.

Oh man, I actually just read this tip from a stylist who swears by using microlocs of unprocessed hair for those super fine textures (she said it blends way better than wefts ever do). It's wild how much extra patience those clients demand, right?
