Vent: A client's hair turned green after a swim in the pool last month

She came in for a color correction, and I found out she had a copper-based dye that reacted with the chlorine. I used a clarifying shampoo and a vitamin C treatment to pull it out, but it took two sessions. Has anyone else dealt with a green tint from pool water on colored hair?

Wait, you can actually fix that?

Classic pool chemistry surprise. It's always the copper, turning people into accidental mermaids. Good call on the vitamin C, that stuff is basically magic for pulling out the green. Two sessions sounds about right for a proper fix.
