Finally got my mom to sit through all 2 hours 47 minutes of The Godfather and she called it slow
My mom avoids any movie made before 1990 like it owes her money, so getting her to watch The Godfather was a 4 year campaign. She kept pausing it to ask who that guy was and why everyone whispered, and at the 90 minute mark she said the wedding part was too long. She made it to the end though, and when the door closed on Kay she just said well that was slow but that Michael kid is something. Now she wants to watch Part II and I have no idea if I am winning or losing here. What movie did you finally get a stubborn family member to finish, and did they actually like it?
