Just realized I spent 2 hours on subtitles because I had the wrong disc in
Sat down Friday to watch a Korean thriller I rented from the library, and the subs kept showing up as gibberish no matter what settings I messed with. Turns out I had grabbed the bonus features DVD instead of the movie DVD, and the "subtitles" were just raw timecode data. Anyone else ever burn a good chunk of movie night on a dumb mixup like that?

Oh man that's brutal, two hours of fiddling with settings for a disc that was never gonna work. Library rentals always seem to have like six discs in the case too, so I get how that happens.
