My buddy paused The Godfather at his place in Denver and I saw something that ruined movie night for me
We were 40 minutes into The Godfather at my friend Dave's apartment in Denver when he hit pause to grab more pizza. The screen froze on this wide shot and I noticed the background actors in the wedding scene looked like they were waiting for directions, not actually celebrating. Once I saw it, I couldn't unsee it. Now every time we watch anything I'm scanning the edges of the frame for people standing around like they're at a bus stop. Dave thinks I ruined movies for him but honestly the guy who paused it is the real problem here. Does anyone else get totally pulled out of a movie by random background stuff, or am I just wired wrong now?
