My cousin in Boise swore I'd hate the new Dune if I read the book, and she was dead wrong
She told me the book would ruin it for me, so I put off watching it 8 months, and when I finally watched the movie last Tuesday I loved every slow minute of it, so now I'm wondering if anyone else had a warning like that backfire on them?
