Paid $180 for a projector screen and now I can't watch movies any other way
I grabbed a cheap 100 inch pull down screen on Amazon about 6 months ago because my wall was too bright and washed out every dark scene. The screen itself was nothing fancy, just a matte white roll up thing, but the difference in black levels on my $400 budget projector blew my mind. I used to hate watching anything at night because the streetlight outside my apartment made everything look gray and foggy. Now I can actually see what's happening in shadowy scenes without cranking the brightness and frying the bulb. Did anyone else wait way too long to get a screen because they thought their bare wall was good enough?
