Re-watched The Prestige after 10 years and realized I missed the whole point of the hats
Saw it in theaters back in 06 and thought it was just a cool trick movie. Last night on streaming I finally paid attention to the opening scene with the row of top hats and it hit me that it was about clones sacrificing themselves the entire time. The drowning part made me feel sick honestly. Did anyone else have a movie flip completely for them on a 2nd viewing or am I just slow on the uptake?
