My buddy in Akron got me to try a farming sim and I owe him an apology

For about 3 years I swore Stardew Valley was just chores with extra steps and I didn't get the point at all. Then my buddy Marcus handed me his Switch during a cookout in Akron and made me play one in game day, and something about watching the crops come in while everyone else was standing around the grill got me. I put 40 hours into my own farm in the first two weeks. What's the one game that turned you around after you wrote it off?
