Update: Spent 3 hours chasing one missing museum item in Stardew and it was a stupid ancient doll
So I finally decided to finish the museum collection on my year 6 save. I had 94 of 95 items donated and I could not figure out what was missing for the life of me. I spent 3 hours going through the wiki list one by one, checking my donation menu, tabbing back and forth, and I kept counting 94 every single time. Turns out I had counted the ancient doll as donated because I had one sitting in a chest for like 4 in game years, and my brain just assumed it was already in the museum. I literally went to the desert, fished in the sewer, dug up every artifact spot on the map, all for an item that was in a chest 20 steps from my front door the whole time. I even made a spreadsheet with checkboxes because I thought the wiki was wrong, which is embarrassing to type out. Anyway if you are stuck on that last item, go look in your chests before you waste a whole evening like I did. What was the last item you needed for your collection and how long did it take you to find it?
