Finally found a trick for lifting heavy beams solo with a come-along and a snatch block

After 3 tries on a job last week, I rigged a snatch block to the truck's tow hitch and used a come-along to inch a 1,200 lb steel beam into place by myself, anyone else got a go-to trick for single-man lifts?

Ngl that's a solid setup. I did almost the same thing last year hauling a big generator up into a barn loft. Used a snatch block on the trailer hitch and a come-along to creep it up a plank, felt like a genius when it worked without breaking anything.

Honestly, is that really a big trick though? I feel like that's pretty basic rigging 101 stuff.
