Hot take: my load chart app died mid lift on a 90 ton in Bakersfield and I'm still heated
Had a 4,200 lb HVAC unit swinging over a parking garage off Rosedale last Thursday when my phone just went black on the load chart screen. I had my boom at 68 feet with about 40 percent of the chart used, so I wasn't even close to the line, but I still froze for a second. I had to call the lift and grab the paper chart out of the cab, and it took me almost 10 minutes to find the right page while the GC was standing there tapping his boot. Phone was at 60 percent battery too, so it wasn't even a dying battery thing, the app just ate it. Any of you still run paper backups, or am I the only one who got lazy and started trusting the phone?
