Am I the only one who thought $180 for a used AlphaSmart was nuts until I tried drafting on one
Saw a guy at a garage sale in Tacoma selling an AlphaSmart Neo for $40 and I almost passed because who needs a keyboard that only shows four lines. I had been fighting my laptop for months, constantly flipping to check email, and my first drafts were coming out stiff and over-edited. Two weeks with the thing and I wrote more rough pages than I had in the previous six months, because there was nothing else to do on it. Anyone else find that a dumber tool actually loosens up their first drafts?
