Scrolled past the same free couch for 6 weeks, finally messaged the guy
This listing in Spokane said 'FREE Couch, slight pet smell, must haul yourself.' I passed it every time because I figured it was a trap. Out of boredom last Tuesday I emailed him anyway, and he turned out to be a retired mechanic who just wanted the thing gone. The smell was one spot from a dog, and after a vinegar scrub and 2 days outside it's totally fine. I've been refreshing for weeks to look at furniture I don't need, but honestly I'm more picky now about listings that sit too long. Anybody else found gold in the posts nobody touches for a month?
