Thought the $40 trampoline with no springs was a scam, then I drove to Modesto
I saw a listing for a free trampoline but the guy said all the springs were gone and it was "just a frame with a mat." I almost skipped it, but my kid had been begging for one and $40 for a new mat was cheaper than $300 for a whole set. When I got to his place in Modesto, he showed me he had zip tied the mat straight to the frame rails and it actually bounced fine, no springs needed. We jumped on it for 20 minutes in his driveway and it held both of us at 300 pounds total. Now I check the free section first before buying anything new, has anyone else scored a fixer upper like this?
