Chose a 30 prompt challenge over a single novel idea, and 3 of my prompts turned into full drafts
Last month I had to make a call: dump all my writing time into one big novel story or do a 30 day prompt challenge from a random list I found on a writing forum. I went with the challenge because finishing small stuff beats staring at a half done chapter. It's been about 6 weeks now and 3 of those daily prompts grew into drafts over 2,000 words, way more than I got from the novel plan. Anyone else find that short prompts actually feed their longer work better than outlining?
