Hit 1,000 rejection letters from lit mags yesterday

Found the stack in my storage unit. Counted them up with a beer. 1,042 total going back seven years. First one was from Ploughshares in 2018. Made me realize I need to stop submitting to the same five big places and try smaller markets.
