I kept freezing on the same prompt about a locked door until a guy at the library in Mesa told me to write the key first
I was stuck for 3 days on a prompt about someone stuck outside a locked door. Everything I wrote was boring because I kept trying to describe the door. A guy at the Mesa library branch on Dobson glanced at my screen and said I should write a scene about the key instead, and the door would follow. Ended up with 900 words that day and the whole thing turned into a story about a locksmith. What's the smallest object you've ever built a whole piece around?
