Spent last weekend at a diner in Tulsa that had a whole wall of handwritten story prompts from customers

Each napkin had a weird hook like 'two strangers swap seats on a bus and realize they switched lives' and it got me thinking about how random real people come up with better ideas than I do. Has anyone else found unexpected writing inspiration like this in a random place?

That's actually a cool idea for a diner. Spotted a bumper sticker once that said "My imaginary friend thinks you have issues" and it got me thinking for days. Weird stuff from real life always beats trying to force ideas.

Yeah bumper stickers are basically poetry for the road lol.
