The Tuesday that gave me three full chapters in one sitting

Last month I had a day where everything just clicked. I sat down at my desk in Portland with a blank page and a vague idea about a guy who inherits a pawn shop, and by 4 PM I had written 4,000 words. The dialogue came out like I was just transcribing voices in my head, which never happens for me. Usually I'm lucky to get 300 words before I start deleting everything. The strange part was the prompt that started it, just a simple one about what a person finds in a locked drawer. Has anyone else had a day like that where the story basically writes itself, or was it just a lucky fluke for me?
