Update: I picked the 10 minute timer over the "write till it hurts" rule and got 6 prompts done
For the last two weeks I've been trying to fill a prompt notebook, and I kept stalling out until I set a cheap kitchen timer for 10 minutes per prompt instead of writing until I ran dry. Got through 6 prompts in one sitting on Tuesday, which is more than I did all last month, and the short clock actually made me stop second guessing every first line. Curious if anyone else works better with a hard stop, or does a timer just make you rush?
