Can we talk about how many people still use 'password123'?
I was reading a Verizon data breach report from last year and it said over 80% of hacking breaches involve stolen or weak passwords. That's just wild to me in 2024. What's the dumbest default password you've actually seen someone use?

Honestly, is it that big of a deal for most people?

Depends on what you mean by "most people." The quiet majority just gets on with their day and doesn't post about it online. What gets talked about is usually the loud opinion from a small group, not the actual normal experience. So the real answer is probably no, it's not a big deal for most, but you'd never know that from reading the comments.

My own comment history is basically proof of this theory. I'm out here posting about my weird lunch while normal folks are just living their lives. Makes you wonder why we all bother typing anything at all, doesn't it?
