Finally got my password manager setup right after 3 messups

I used to use the same 3 passwords for everything for like 5 years. Then last summer I got a notification that one of my accounts got logged into from Russia. That scared me straight. I tried a password manager but I kept forgetting the master password and had to reset it twice. Then my buddy in Denver told me to write the master password down on paper and keep it in my wallet. That finally clicked. Now I have 47 unique passwords all stored safe and I can actually log into stuff without guessing. My only worry now is if I lose my wallet. Has anyone else had that paper backup get ruined or lost?

haha yeah man i dropped mine in a puddle once and had to scramble to dry it out before the ink ran

Oh no, that's awful! Did you manage to save it okay? I feel your pain though, that panic is real (especially with a good notebook).
