My friend in IT support told me my 'password123' was so weak it made him physically wince.
That awkward moment last Tuesday made me finally set up a password manager and generate a unique 16-character passphrase for every single account.

Wait, isn't a passphrase a string of random words? If it's 16 characters of random letters and numbers, that's just a strong password. Either way, good move, that old one was a welcome mat for trouble.

Ha, tell me about it @robert64 - I called mine a passphrase too and it was basically my dog's name backwards.

Exactly, the line gets blurry now. People use "passphrase" for any long login, even if it's just random characters. It's like how every phone charger is a "Lightning cable" even if it's USB-C. The specific tech term just becomes the general word for the thing.
