TIL I finally hit 100 two-factor codes on my phone and it made me weirdly proud
I remember back in 2016 I had maybe two logins with 2FA, and one of them was just my bank texting me a code. Last Tuesday I scrolled through my authenticator app and counted 100 entries, which sounds nerdy but it hit me how normal this stuff became. Back then people at my office in Dayton would groan about having to type a 6 digit code, now it is just part of the morning routine like making coffee. The scary part is how many of those 100 I set up after some breach email scared me into it. Has anyone else actually counted theirs, or am I the only one who got a little nostalgic about when a strong password felt like enough?
