Finally got my stubborn client to do a proper warm-up after three months of trying

He actually listened today and said his shoulders felt way better during the workout. Anyone else have a tip for getting people to stop skipping that part?

That "finally got my stubborn client" line is so real. I had a guy who would just walk in and start benching heavy. My trick was to make the warm-up the workout. Like, I stopped calling it a warm-up and just made the first fifteen minutes all mobility and activation stuff. If they think it's optional, they skip it. If it's just part of the plan, they do it. It's all about how you frame it. Once they feel the difference like your client did, they usually get on board for good.

Honestly @susansingh that's the only way to do it. I had a client just like that who would skip straight to deadlifts. Tbh I started calling our first block "movement prep" and built it right into the clock. Once they realize their shoulders don't feel like crap and they can actually lift more, they stop fighting you. It's all in the sell for sure.
