Hit 10,000 steps for 30 days straight but gained 2 pounds. Is the scale lying or am I?

So I finally nailed my step goal for a whole month. My watch kept buzzing at me and I actually listened for once. But when I stepped on the scale this morning it said 2 pounds higher than last month. I mean technically I hit the milestone right? That 30 day streak felt huge to me. But now I'm wondering if the daily small win is the streak itself or the actual result. Which side do you guys fall on the journey vs the outcome thing?

Look at how you measure success in anything else - hitting the mark doesn't always mean results show up when you want them. Your streak is real progress, just gotta trust the process and give it more time.

Honestly everything good takes longer than we think it should, whether it's plants or projects or people.
