Just remembered something my neighbor said about my garden years ago
Back when I first moved in, my front yard was just dirt and weeds. I was trying to plant some flowers and my neighbor, Mr. Henderson, came over. He watched me struggle for a minute and said, 'Kid, just water it and walk away. It'll figure itself out.' I've thought about that every spring for the last 8 years. Today I finally got my first good crop of tomatoes from plants I grew from seed, and I didn't fuss over them at all. Has anyone else had a piece of simple advice that just stuck with them for years?

Got a similar thing from my grandma about cooking. She'd say "stop poking the food, it's trying to cook." Applies to way more than just fried eggs.
