My barber pointed out I hold my comb wrong after 8 years of cutting my own hair
I was getting a trim at Ray's on 5th in Tucson last week and he grabbed my hand after I mentioned I cut my own hair at home. He said I was gripping the comb like a hammer, which is why my fades came out uneven around the temples every single time. I tried his way that night with a lighter grip and the line came out clean on the first pass, no going back over it. Anyone else pick up a small tip like that from a pro and feel silly it took so long?
