My neighbor said wait 2 days before mowing new grass, I waited 6 and now I have bare patches
Back in April I seeded a strip of lawn by the driveway and my neighbor Dale told me to wait 2 days before the first mow. I got busy with work and let it go 6 days instead, and when I finally cut it the grass was so tall the mower ripped half of it right out of the dirt. So was Dale just wrong, or did I wreck this myself by not mowing when he said?
