Overheard a guy say 'good enough' about a wobbly table and it bugged me all day

At the coffee shop on 5th Street this morning, this dude fixed a restaurant table by shoving a napkin under one leg and literally said 'good enough' to his friend. I kept staring at that thing wobble every time someone leaned on it, and it got me thinking about how often I do the same lazy fix in my own life. Has anyone else caught themselves accepting a 'good enough' result when 10 more minutes would have made it actually right?

The napkin trick is basically my whole life strategy at this point. I once "fixed" a wobbly shelf with a folded up bus ticket and told myself it was character. Honestly, I'm just impressed the table stayed standing long enough for you to judge, that's more than my stuff usually manages.
