The guy at the laundromat on 5th told me my socks were folded wrong and honestly it made my week
I was folding a huge pile of socks at the Suds n Spin on 5th last Tuesday and a guy about 70 sat down next to me and said 'you fold the cuff over first, trust me, 40 years of marriage taught me that.' I laughed and tried it, and 20 pairs later I noticed his basket was already done and he gave me a thumbs up on his way out. Has anyone else had a stranger hand them a tiny tip that somehow stuck with them for days?
Why is it always the old guys who drop the best random wisdom? Had a dude at a bus stop tell me to always buy the second cheapest thing on a menu and I still do it. Tiny tips from strangers just hit different.
