Hit 100 users in the first week then stalled hard

Launched a local delivery app in Portland last June. Got 100 signups day one from a Reddit post. Then zero growth for two months straight. What number surprised you and why did it matter?

and honestly the real number that matters is how many of those 100 actually placed a second order. first week signups are mostly curiosity junkies, they'll try anything once. if you had 5 people ordering twice in that first week, you had something to build on.

You mean like the guy who signed up 80 people his first week and only 3 of them came back for round two? I remember my buddy Jake showing me his numbers, and exactly what @alicecooper is saying was the story for him.
